Hi, i've been trying to compile the Splash-2 benchmarks available in the
downloads section but for some reason it's not working.
I see that it uses the parmacs library, but it's not working. The linker
complains about it. So I thought about comiling it again. But gcc complains
about the assembly code.

Well, i got the alpha cross-compiler from the ct-ng tool indicated in the m5
website. The version of the generated gcc is
"alphaev67-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc (crosstool-NG-1.6.0) 4.4.3".

Is there some magical step or tool to compile the benchmarks for Alpha in SE
mode?
Later I'll need to use SPARC processors and I imagine things won't be so
dificult once I get things working on Alpha.

Thanks in advance,
