Hi Robert. It's not a problem, but lets steer this onto m5-users so
other people can chime in and benefit from the answer. I don't
actually know for sure where to get those files, although Ali probably
does. Ali?

Hello Gabe:
Sorry to bug you, but I am running in to the same problem as the
thread you answered below. My version of the full system files,
m5_system_2.0b3, does not contain a certain binary. I get the same
output as below, and it is apparent that I lack the reset_new.bin file
for SPARC_FS. My question is, where can I find this file?
I looked at the OpenSPARC website, but those are FPGA and low level
design files. Is it somewhere in the Open Solaris project?
Again, sorry to bother you, I am just a newbie at M5. Thanks in
advance for any help you can provide.

You are right that you need to download those files. You might be able
to get them through the "Full System Files" link at
http://www.m5sim.org/wiki/index.php/Download, but I haven't actually
looked in that tarball to check. We run that regression regularly, so
once you have all the right files you should be able to run it
yourself without any problems. Our SPARC support isn't as mature as
our Alpha support, but it is there and does work in most cases.

Hi all,
I've having trouble running M5 after building it without any
problems using
$scons build/SPARC_FS/m5.debug
then running the regression tests fails
$scons build/SPARC_FS/tests/debug
...
scons: ***

I guess I'm missing the bin files, "reset_new.bin" and may be
others. currently I only have (console, ts_osfpal, vmlinux)
I couldn't find those files, where can I get them?
or does the following bug means that SPARC is currently not supported?

TIA
