[m5-users] formula to find ipc in m5

hi all,
        i am using this formula to find ipc

no of ticks simulated/1000=cycle count

no of instructions simulated/cycle count=IPC,

please correct me if i am wrong,because i am getting some large numbers in
terms of IPC
