aasvg almost turns Figure 4 into something comprehensible, but I think that the
problem is that it is just too busy. The content of those clouds, especially
the bottom two, is just incomprehensible. I think that you might be better
served by trying to do less with the figure.
The top, with some tweaks, looks pretty good with aasvg. It's quite a bit
clearer than the text version, despite this not really degrading the text
version much, if at all. I couldn't say the same for the bottom half:
