I see in the equalizer settings I can adjust the speed a song plays at,
however that also affects the advertisements and voice-overs. Is there a
way to tell the ads/voices not to play at the changed rate?

Since the speed adjust is a global adjustment for the deck itself you cannot
tel each track to play at a different speed.

You could write a PAL script which dynamically adjusts the playback speed
depending upon the type of song in the player.

Ahh that sounds like it would do it (I just need to adjust for a few that
are in the clockwheel). How would one do that? Do you have an example, or
can you point me to one?

what you can also do is assign your ads and voice overs to play in one of
the AUX decks
Since the speed on them would NOT be changed,....... there ya go
