Are the webserver and SAM on the same computer? If so then your runing into a loopback error, thats a whole nother pain to work with.
If not then the problem is that your computer is simply not visable from the internet. When I do a ping to 85.17.235.2 I get a reply back, however if I try to telnet to port 1221 I get could not open conenction to host. As for a linksys vs dlink, give me the choice I will take a linksys any day. I have been running my Linksys overclocked without any extra cooling and pumping out 100mw of power form the antenna (defualt is 28) for 6 months now. Never had a problem with it.
