Hello,
When I set up a website I always give the website access to "Select, Insert and
Update", sometimes Delete if the application I am using it for calls for it.
But that?s it.

You do not need to give access to any other database other than the samdb
database.

In addition, for Root, I usually give it full access, but that is because I do
allot of work with mysql on the root user, so I prefer not to have any
boundaries.

Subject: [General-discussion] privelages anyone?

did anyone get this message? no one replied and im sure everyone on here has
the same settings as we all use SAM broadcaster:

Ok help me out here.

MySQL Administrator > Use Administration > (Under the USE account) i click
him and then i goto the SCHEMA PRIVILEGES for that user.
There in the columns i click SAMDB
for Assigned Priv i select
SELECT | INSERT | UPDATE
i move these from the available side to the Assigned side

do i need to do this again for the mysql and test Schemata's as well?
or just for SAMDB under the USER and NOT the root?

Also
for the ROOT user
do i have to take EVERYTHING from available and move it to assigned?

Since im getting SQL errors im sure my network is working correctly and the
installation is correct

its the SQL i was having trouble re installing some time ago where all this
mess started
