As I worked on game engines before and made myself a game with this app (http://www.blender.org) I know how hard it is to make a game
This brings me to two points: 1) An open-source engine is there. But doing a game is so hard and time consuming and it needs so much skills (models, level-design, texturing, programming-language skills,etc...) that it is very hard to make a good looking game and it is very time consuming so a port to linux would be (in my opinion also) a foolish thing. As there isn't nearly any userbase and the question would be: are you ready to pay 60$ for a game like that? 2) this brings me to the second point, a company needs to make money not to satisfy the needs of some nerds and a game engine is so hard to make no one would make it open source this is foolish... Only if the ppl are hobbiests maybe... At the end my personal opinion: I don't like the games you posted as they deal with war and killing, a game is first of all a GAME (lu3ba) and war is not a game...
