I now have the Urdu "Nafees Web Naskh" fonts working properly in KDE Linux. Had to install the new QT-3.3.3 lib to make these fonts work.
My Linux config is: Slackware 9.1, with Qt: 3.3.3 KDE: 3.1.4 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.7 Build Operating System: Linux 2.4.26 i686 [ELF] Current Operating System: Linux local 2.4.23 #6 Sat Nov 29 22:47:03 PST 2003 i686
I think these have be used with the Urdu keyboard to work properly (available from http://www.crulp.nu.edu.pk/).
