I have a new computer with Debian 3.1 (Sarge) on it. I downloaded BiCon, but am having a problem compiling it. The BiCon configuration program cannot find fribidi even though fribidi 0.10.4 is installed in /usr/bin and libfribidi.so.0.0.0 is in /usr/lib. The Debian package libfribidi0_0.10.4-6_i386.deb is in /var/cache/apt/archives. The configuration program apparently is looking for a file called fribidi.pc, but I cannot find that file anywhere on my computer. I would be grateful for any suggestions as to what I can do to get bicon compiled.
