Hi folks,
Few months ago WS PMC voted to move Apache JaxMe project to WS
Attic[1] ( WS PMC maintaining it's own attic space for inactive sub
projects). I already moved site and svn to attic location. It would
be great if you can look into following items that I don't have enough
permissions.
1.) Remove mailing list - [email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>
2.) Make JIRA Read only - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAXME
3.) Remove old site - /www/ws.apache.org/jaxme
<http://ws.apache.org/jaxme> on people.apache.org
<http://people.apache.org> ( I tried but seems issue with permissions)
(added general@attic to cc)
Hi Sagara,
According to the process description [A] this is how to do it:
"""
Close down infrastructure resources
Open a ticket with Infrastructure asking for resources to be closed
down. This includes:
JIRA, Bugzilla + SVN if no one has karma
Closing down of dev@, commits@ and private@ mailing lists
Read-only in wiki (be it Confluence or Moinmoin)
Delete unix/ldap group
New moderator for user@ list
"""
Infrastructure tickets are filed at [B]. You should preferably refer the
infra issue from the Attic issue opened for moving JaxMe to the Attic.
I did this for a subproject a while back, and received swift and good
service from the infra team :)
I was under the impression that the old web pages are simply marked with
a header and left in peace. Are they now supposed to be deleted, or are
you talking about deprecated versions of the web pages for JaxMe?
Regards,
