it seems Submarine does not really use its users@ mailing list

but dev instead: ok, that's the type of adaptation we want = be clear in the 
usual project's communication channel

in that case, yes, the thread you started is the right one for Submarine: you 
just need to add a followup to confirm that the project retirement has been 
confirmed, then it is being moved to the attic
