I've got a dual-booting Presario desktop with a Voodoo3x2000 PCI in it.
I was able to deactivate the SiS onboard vid chip in Win98, leaving the
V3 as my only working card. Plays Q3 great. Linux, however, didn't
quite do that job during install. When I run Xconfigurator, I get an
SiS agp video + tdfx.o loaded for it. It's not noticing the V3 as a
hardware option, but it's loading its driver.....sort of.

I can derive from the format of the XF86Config what my entry needs to
'look' like. My questions are whether there's an exact format for the
entry, and how exactly I can make Linux ignore that device and see the
Voodoo3?
