BRLUG'rs,
right before Scott and I got the NOLUG going we attended a Linux demo
at a local pub. They had free pizza and beer. It was nice, and a generally
geeky good time. Most of the attendees were between 30 and 70, with a few
exceptions. This was done on a Sunday afternoon, and they had two computer set
up in the bar. You might consider doing this... just remember you cut out any
possibility of under-age participation. Also people, like my wife, who are
disturbed by smokey bars might have a problem as well.
