an SRPM is a Source RPM, it contains the uncompiled source code for the application you would get in the RPM version. You would need to rebuild an SRPM before installing it, by using the command 'rpm --rebuild filename.src.rpm' . Unless you have a need to (and you would probably know if you did), just download the i386 version and install that.
