One volunteer here. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dustin Puryear Sent: Thursday, October 11, 2001 1:43 PM To: BRLUGLIST Cc: Lisa D Murphy Subject: [brluglist] Business class meeting..
We discussed this earlier, but I lost the emails. I need three to five volunteers to speak about Linux. There will be two events. One, for a class of MBAs at LSU, to discuss open source, Linux, and various business issues. The second will be for ISDS students, and should be more technical in nature. (But not too technical. Remember, these are ISDS majors.) Say, a review of Apache, various free compilers and interpreters, and comparisons with NT and Win2k. Let me know if you are interested, and which one you are interested in doing. Unless we don't have enough volunteers, I'll assign each person that volunteers to only ONE of these each. I believe these meetings will happen sometime in early November. Lisa, please email me an update of the dates, if you have them. I'd like to confirm the presentations before anyone actually starts doing real work.
