Well, then it was more a group of IRC junkies who considered hacking to be
using War Scripts.  Jump on IRC on the #2600 channel, and you'll basically
get the jist.  I went on there a few months ago when I was looking for SQL
2000 vulnerabilities (it was legit security work), and only one person out
of around 200 people actually had any decent information.  He didn't know
anything about the authentication protocol, but he did give me a good lead
on a brute force cracker for SQL Server.  In general, it's a bunch of script
kiddies who like to talk about themselves.

My general experience with these types of groups is that the good groups who
are "underground".  The people/groups who publicly post generally just are
concerned with DDoS.  Dirty stuff if you ask me.
