I actually attended a Birds of a Feather (BoF) with Maddog last night. The topic was how to best push Linux within USENIX/SAGE/Usergroups (ie., USENIX publishing ads for LUG sponsored conferences). I think John H. would have particularly enjoyed this discussion. Anyway, there were about fifteen of us, with a strong LUG presence. I thought it was quite informative.
