Gary, To get the newline message to go away ... (which doesn't affect anything it's just a warning) you need to be root user and pico /etc/fstab scroll down to the end of the last line and hit enter. This will make you a newline. Save it (Control + O) and then hit enter when it gives you the save as 'fstab' dialog; then exit pico, and reboot. Not sure about Netscape, I use 6.1 and hotmail for e-mail. I would assume you enter the incoming and outgoing e-mail servers the same as for windows. (mail.btnrug1.la.home.com) for me. I currently use Slackware 8. Hope this helps,
