For all that sucks in MSSQL it is still a few generations ahead of MySQL.
How about PostgreSQL instead? Hmm, actually, isn't there a free version of
Sybase out there? For obvious reasons that will reduce a lot of
compatibility problems if you want to use something other than MSSQL when
MSSQL is required.
