Actually, that's a lie, I can't even get to dbootstrap when attempting to install debian.
My keyboard works fine, until the rescue disk starts trying to load the kernel. Then it dies on me, I can't hit enter because my keyboard just doesn't work. I'm using the vanilla kernel. I have a usb mouse and a regular ol ps\2 keyboard. That combination caused me retarded problems in windows, hope that's not the case here. So here's the deal. When attempting to install from a linux ext2 partition, I put the rescue disk in, and get all the way to the part where it asks me to put the other disks, I can't hit enter because my keyboard doesn't work. So, I tried installing it from dos with the handy install.bat file and linloader and all that jazz. I get to the nifty little screen that warns me that there's no warranty with debian and tells me all about the nice charitable folks at debian, but I can't hit the enter key to continue. Has anyone experienced similar difficulties? I'm sure it's something minor I'm overlooking.
