I've been seeing and hearing a number of people comment lately that the amount of email received from brluglist has been "excessive". :)
I'm probably one of the biggest culprits of this problem. So, I would like to propose that we create a new mailing list called "brlug_announcements" that will only be for announcements related to BRLUG meetings. It will not be a discussion list like "brluglist", in that you won't be able to reply to announcements. It is intended to be a low volume list. So, if you are getting too much "noise to signal" in the brluglist mailing list, voice some support here for the creation of "brlug_announcements". Anybody interested?
