I'd rather find out who the next Loki is and support them, so the same fate doesn't befall them. Loki's ports were excellent. They did a great job, in my opinion.
Don't get me wrong, it's cool that people switching to linux can continue to play the games they loved under windows, but what is this encouraging? People to move to linux? Or programmers to keep programming for windows because linux users may be able to play their game with an emulator? I just hope that bioware doesn't announce at the last minute that their killing development for the linux version of Neverwinter Nights. That's what we need, more companies creating original content for Linux, and bioware is supposedly going to include the linux and windows version in the same box, as soon as it's released. I hate directx, give me opengl anyday. :-) On Sat, 2002-01-26 at 16:58, Larry Braud wrote: > Here is info for Linux gamers > http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,77449,00.asp -- "Be true to yourself and you will never fall" - Beastie Boys ================================================ BRLUG - The Baton Rouge Linux User Group Visit http://www.brlug.net for more information.
