Sorry it took so long to reply, but I'm just getting down to your email.

Yes. The best (and easiest) way to make LRP is to download one of the
"idiot-images" and rawrite in windows, or dd in Linux, it to the floppy. You
can then boot off of it, add modules and customize it as nessary. A better
sugestion would be to use CoyoteLinux (www.cocotelinux.com) which is LRP with
a windows and Linux installer, and some firewall rules built in. Or you can
use FrazierWall (www.frazierwall.com), which is Coyote with a built-in web
server and better firewall rules.

The top three floppy distributions have to be TomsRtBt, LRP (and it's forks),
and Trinux (trinux.sourceforge.net). Trinux is a networking diagnostic and
secutity toolkit. It amazing what they can put on two or three floppies.

As far as CD distros go, it sounds like you guys have already found Demo
Linux. But you need to check LNX-BBC (www.lnx-bbc.org). It's a fork from the
original LinuxCare-BBC. LNX is cross between TomsRtBt and Trinux with a bunch
of other stuff (like X-windows with a Mozilla browser) thrown in. It is very
stripped down (fits on a 50 MByte Business Card CD). Easy to get around in.
Makes a great recovery disk. Lots of Network tools. Drivers installed for
almost everything, except sound and USB. I have modified it and turned it into
my own personal Linux distribution. I'll bring a couple of copies if I make it
to the next meeting.

After reading the BRLUG mail, I can't wait to meet everyone in person. BRLUG
sounds like a great group.
