Well if you really want to know....
This whole thing has mutated quite a bit from its intent.
The whole purpose of the pllug quick poll was to collect options (
brainstorm) . Even the most silly nonsensical suggestion has its place in
this phase. Usually when you have enough options, the best ones (or most
important ones) crown out the silly ones. After collecting options, a group
will formally eliminate impractical/bad ones (this is when a watchdog type
personality is needed). Sometimes a group will reform its goals once it has
an idea of the scope of its options. There will be plenty of time and
plenty of reason to be critical of our choices later. Please, let me run
this by you again.
