Ok, this may just be playing devil's advocate, but what happens when Joe
Public's son/daughter wants to check out this software called Linux, and
when they get home dad is not so happy when his child has fdisked,
formatted, and installed this "linux" thing over all of his important
business and financial software/documents. I have a feeling that he would
not be to happy that the library is allowing this software to be checked out
that can overwrite his entire machine.

So I guess the point I'm bringing up is that there should probably be a
"disclaimer" about being careful and making sure you know what you are
getting into when messing with partitions and not blowing up your computer
by thinking that Linux is a program that you can install to d: (yep, i've
heard that one 8-) )

Being that I work in the library I do see quite a few parents who just let
the kids checkout whatever book/video they want and don't pay much attention
to what the youngster is getting.

As yall know from my previous posts on the list I am a huge linux fan and
use it extensively here in Abbeville. Unfortunately the this past year and
a half in the library system has made me aware of how many people want to
hold everyone but them self accountable for anything they can.

This is just some 2 cents I wanted to throw in.
