http://www.webmin.com/ -- webmin has good web-based admin features. I think 
they also support ssl connection which is absolutely necessary for sys 
admin. Also look for more options at http://sourceforge.net and 
http://freshmeat.net

You may also want to look into http://xfree86.cygwin.com/ to remotely and 
securely view your LINUX desktop from a Windows box.
