Well, I just ordered the gentoo cd and I can't wait, I feel like a kid waiting for christmas to come around.
While I'm waiting for my cd to come in the mail though, I'm gonna fill my time trying to find a c++ ide that fits to my liking. Dev C++ just isn't cooperating with me in gnome for some reason, so I've decided to strike out and look for something new. I noticed that Kdevelop is in the portage tree and I was wondering how nice it is. The only thing in gnome that interests me is evolution, and I can use that in KDE anyway. I guess I'll quite my ramblin and finish up this e-mail. Does anyone have an ide to suggest? I was using dev c++ because that's what I use in windows, but I find the linux version to be slightly buggy. Has anyone tried kdevelop and if so, how nice is it? I don't need anything fancy, I just like a package with a debugger, compiler and editor all right there in front of me. Cordially, Douglas Adams
