Ed, Do you mean the Linksys WPC11 wireless card? Linksys has an open source one: ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/linux_wlan_ng_0114_pre1.tar.gz but doesn't provide support for it.
I know the Lucent WaveLAN/Orinoco Silver 802.11b card is supported under Linux: http://www.cs.umd.edu/~moustafa/mwavelan/mwavelan.html I bought one of these because it has a jack for an external antenna. I was going to recommend that you check the various Linux hardware compatibility websites, but they seem to list only stable, kernel supported hardware, which is good, because then you know it works. Most of the other drivers out there are not part of the kernel but can be added. John Hebert --- "Richards, Ed" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I saw the Linksys ad as well.
