I think that giving away so mugs and tee shirts would get the
highschool kids to show up to the library demos.  I was going to talk
to Baker High about letting me put on a demo for the computer classes
too.  You know, do the demo at school and send them to the library
for the software.  Maybe they'd accidently read a book too.

I sent a note to LibraNet asking for promotional items.  Does anyone
have any contacts with other Open Source companies that might come
across with a coffee mug, tee shirt or something we could use as door
prizes for the demonstrations at the libraries.  I have some Redhat
Decals I got with my 7.0 box set.  On a low-cost white coffee mug
they look pretty good.  I'd rather we use better quality stuff
though.

It can take a while to collect this stuff, even from companies that
are dying to give it away.  The sooner we start the better.
