I think that giving away so mugs and tee shirts would get the highschool kids to show up to the library demos. I was going to talk to Baker High about letting me put on a demo for the computer classes too. You know, do the demo at school and send them to the library for the software. Maybe they'd accidently read a book too.
I sent a note to LibraNet asking for promotional items. Does anyone have any contacts with other Open Source companies that might come across with a coffee mug, tee shirt or something we could use as door prizes for the demonstrations at the libraries. I have some Redhat Decals I got with my 7.0 box set. On a low-cost white coffee mug they look pretty good. I'd rather we use better quality stuff though. It can take a while to collect this stuff, even from companies that are dying to give it away. The sooner we start the better. ===== Warmest Regards, Doug Riddle http://www.dougriddle.com ## Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the Peoples' Liberty Teeth." - George Washington ## __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
