I want to make sure we have a good schedule so that nothing gets lost. Please make additions or corrections to the following:
-- Pressing -- due 8/30 First, we want to have the library proposal ready for this Friday. That means you do not approach anyone before that time unless it's just for a bit of Q&A. due 8/28 Second, we need to choose a name for the program. By sometime tomorrow I will have a voting program online at brlug.net and we will close the polls by Friday morning. due 9/5 Third, we need to decide if we just want to host the program off of brlug.net or create a new domain? For now is it really all that important? Remember, we are just working on getting this up for now. Let's polish it as we go along. due 9/5 Fourth, we need to decide which distributions we are going to offer in the first release of the program. That means that unless you are burning Knoppix you shouldn't be burning anything yet. This may be another matter for voting. -- Not as pressing -- due .. Fifth, we need to create a database that list each volunteer, target library, and what actions they have taken. This is no rush since we haven't even spoken to the libraries. due .. Sixth, we need to create a checklist that each library volunteer will follow when they work with the library.
