Pieces of Pentagon To Be Displayed In LA

A Louisiana native who served in the Korean War some 50 years ago,
went all the way to the Pentagon recently to make sure that the war
on 9-11 is never forgotten. Seventy-year-old Lester Guidry from
Lafayette is on a mission to show pieces of the Pentagon, blown to
bits by one of the hi-jacked airplanes on September 11th, to people
all over the country.

One piece is going to Guidry's American Legion Post 69 in Lafayette.
Another will go to the state capitol in Baton Rouge. The historical
stones are being delivered by a flatbed towtruck with a sign that
reads, 'Let's Roll.' But Guidry has his own message.

"Future generations have got to step up to the plate and if you don't
God bless you, but you better defend your freedom and understand what
it's all about because it doesn't come cheap," said Guidry.

Another section of those stones is going to be displayed at the
Univeristy of Louisiana at Lafayette.
