first off... i have not found a linux that works just right for me... i tend to be very hard in my criticism of linux, bc i expect more out of it... i see features that i like in some, but not one that has all the features (but i hear libranet fixes this... and im waiting till i can get my hands on 2.7)... you should know that first
i signed up for the beta program at sco linux (formerly caldera) as a beta tester for United LInux. i was less than happy. it seems that united linux is... well, suse. nothing special about it at all.. . the installer is suse the configuration tools are suse the only thing is.. it didnt even have all the suse configuration tools didnt detect my scsi drive a nearly full install only used two of the three cds, and had next to nothing installed, not even kppp no games either =( it did offer hardware 3d acceleration though... but not teh drivers (told you to dl them, but it sets it up). it probably just needs more programs to come with it though --mat
