wassup my *nix homies? i havent been checking my mail lately and ive found how important it is i stopped getting brlug mail and i was like what the $^&% .... renew acct its all good got a box you guys might like, i call it: ------------------------- NIPPON - PI233mhz 64mb ram ati all in wonder running that 2.4.19 basically its my entertainment machine! i watch tv etc gotta get a pci ethernet card fo it so if anyone has em handy id appreciate one! but if not ill bust out the bestbuy or compusa for one... but what distro you ask? nippon of course is an os in itself because linux is only a kernel, but you guys knew that! yes this means i compiled everything from scratch! dammit the only thing hard about it was i forgot to compile vim... dont forget vim! youll end up using: cat >> /etc/fstab << "EOF" what an ass pain
oh yea im also building my game machine (finally) i got off ma ass and bought junk so heres the new box: -------------------------- TANK - amd thunderbird 1.33ghz 1024mb of ram (yes its a gig) some slick case i bought 25g hd + 9g backups hd and two.. count it two geforce 2's one agp and one pci! i plan to use both of my monitors for ultimate quakeage (waiting for my parts *sigh) -------------------------- hey john.. i think ill teach "Compiling the kernel etc" if someone would let me! heh i might visit you guys on sat, you still meet on sat? but its no walking distance anymore! sucks isnt it by cortana mall? bah ill look it up -------------------------- oh and for any new or people who dont know me I am: Abbott "rade0n" Mujica im 16 and ive been a linux kid since i was 14 and no my handle is not because of the ati card! sorry msg is too long must exit pine must sleep its 1:30am just dropin by to say hello hello! bye bye!
