Hello, all. I just installed RedHat 8.0 on the laptop yesterday, and I am very happy = with=20 it (so far). Most of you probably saw the link below posted on /. a few = days=20 ago, but if you are using RH8.0, I recommend you take a look at it. Ther= e=20 are very clear instructions for installing TT fonts from Windows (or, I=20 suppose, any other source) for use by both KDE (I do not use Gnome, canno= t=20 comment) and OpenOffice. For the first time ever, OpenOffice looks reall= y=20 good, font-wise. In fact, I had imported a document from MS Word a while= =20 back, and some equations were munged b/c OO did not have the MS SYmbol fo= nt=20 installed. As of the new install, everything is fixed b/c the correct fo= nts=20 are now there.
