I'm going to guess that there's not a lot of golfers on this list but
if you're interested in a real-life Linux app then take a look at

It's got beautiful graphics - easy to use and is run by Linux - a PC
under the hood with Linux on a chip connected to a GPS system.  You
drive around the golf course and the display shows you where each hole
is, relative to your location.  Overall the device feels like a tablet
PC but requires no user interface at all - GPS tells it where it is
and it knows where the holes are - all you have to do is hit the
ball...
