Michael Robertson, in his Lindows newsletter, reports that TigerDirect has sold out of its $229 Lindows computers. Seems it was their top seller.
Considering the poor reputation TigerDirect has in the trade, seems remarkable. Trust WalMart will have similar success, but haven't seen any reports. Does suggest that a mass marketer can sell even a clunky machine if it has a version of Linux that is already installed, configured, and ready to be used by a rank beginner. Choppy
