OK, answering my own posting, I fix the dos issue. It appears that dos
support is dependent on POSIX Acces Control List. This is supposed to
providfe support for user groups beyond the owner/group/workld scheme
according to the help from menuconfig. It also says, If you don't know
what ACL are, say N. right!

I still have problems having smb support, any idea what could the
dependency be?
