The LUG supports a few mailing lists, all of them closed. Occasionally we have people posting to the list from the wrong account, or spammers trying to hit the list. I will sometimes go through the lists administration and push through any pending emails, but sometimes I don't have time and I just reject everything.
I'd like someone to take over mailing lists administration. This is NOT a hard job. I've found that you will need to push through or reject 5-8 mails per week for all of the lists combined. If you take this position I would expect no message to be pending for more than a week. So, expect to spend 10-20 minutes a week at most on this. Before volunteering, please be sure you have the time to do this. Don't volunteer if you aren't going to do it.
