thanks guys, i've read all the replies to my question. and a few of the questions are a little difficult to answer. but here goes. I was using Evolution as an email client. I've tried to use tomsrtbt and it didn't work, i tried coyote and it didn't register that i had any hard disks. thats why i'm trying to revert to using the virtual or a slim instal. how much mail you ask ... well it's quite a bit bc i used linux as my main os for a few months. i was trying to run some games that required the 3d hardware drivers installed so i tried to install the proprietary NVidia drivers for linux. I mean TuxRacer was running very choppy (with no other apps running) if at all on the provided driver with mandrake. and i was going to run quake 3 and a few others.
again guys, thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to do the massive stuff sometime this weekend. later, Jeremy Bertrand ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Riddle" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 28, 2003 9:36 PM Subject: Re: [brlug-general] question about running linux virtually > How much mail are we talking about retrieving?
