Sounds like your bookmarks folder/file is read-only. check
/home/USER/.mozilla/ for file permissions. i know there is a bookmarks
folder/file in there.

Hi,
I just upgraded to Mozilla version 1.0.2 (didn't do 1.2 due to problems I
had). I am having problems saving bookmarks. I exported my bookmarks
before I upgraded, and imported them after I upgraded. But I can't save new
bookmarks. I can open bookmarks that I have saved earlier by clicking on
the "bookmarks" butting, but when I drag the icon of a web page to the
bookmarks toolbar, nothing happens.
