Hey Alvaro, Though I'm not as musically inclined as you, I have found a number of music/sounds apps for Linux. I have been researching audio on Linux for a few weeks now as I have a couple of projects I am working on concerning audio.
Here are a few links I've found to be informative: http://linux-sound.org/ http://www.linuxlabs.com/software/AutoZen.html http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ I use Audacity on both win32 and Linux and like it a lot. Note that there are packages for RedHat, Debian, Mandrake, and even Gentoo!
