Hi, I'm trying to get my pptp server to authenticate against the Windows 2K domain. So far, I'm able to successfully log into the PPTP VPN with a local machine account, and I'm able to log into the local machine with a Windows Active Directory account. What I haven't been able to get working is to log into the PPTP service with a domain account. It would seem that PPTP uses PAM to authenticate users, however there are no files that seem related to pptp in /etc/pam.d, and adding smb_auth lines to the files that seem useful doesn't get me anywhere. Does anyone know exactly how pptpd authenticates?
