Myself and at least one other on the list goto ULL. I used to goto LATech as well :). My major has always been computer science, but I never got the chance to go into it. I dont know much about the art classes or 3D design, but I can tell you thier acceptance of OpenSource. LATech likes FreeBSD, but you dont see that in the Computer Science Department, you only see some proprietary Unix machines that are really old (as of when I was there).=20 ULL on the other hand has about a dozen faculty are really into Linux and opensource (I am trying to start an on campus opensource group here). Lots of Sun workstations, at least one Linux lab, stuff like that. Cant tell you about their computer graphics programs though. If I were you I would try to contact the Deans of Computer Science at either school and find out. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. --=20 Mat Branyon http://www.louisiana.edu/~mwb7791 On Sun, 2003-04-13 at 21:36, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Hello, >=20 > We (myself, my Mom, and my dad) went to LA Tech (in Ruston, Louisiana) > yesterday, (for their open house thing) and after talking to my dad, I > think that he is going to let me take 3d animation, as long as I minor > in something that deals with computers (don't know what though).
