Dear Fellows:
I was in Books-A-Million( Perkins ) a couple days ago. I purchased a
book by Matthew Stucky about MySQL and Interface design for about $16.
It was originally $49 and they had about 3 more copies if you are
interested. It is definitely not an introduction to GUI design but a
rather accelerated introduction and a nice tutorial about the mysterious
Glade, reason enough for me to buy. If you have done some VB you will
find it valuable because of its ( annoying ) continues reference and
comparison to that environment. The book uses GTK+ without gnome
support. Also the first chapter is an enlightening introduction to
MySQL, its capabilities and how it relates to Access and SQL Server.b

Take care,

Alvaro Zuniga
