Mat's right. M$'s intent is to make $$$ on the games and to establish the
Xbox as the hub of a home multimedia entertainment system. So let go of your
guilt and mod away! I'm thinking of getting an Xbox as well. Where should I
get started? Should I get a mod chip or is that needed anymore?

If I remember right, Microsoft is selling the Xbox at a loss. I know it
