Purely these things were done for educational purposes.

However, as I have heard things, the big companies 
probably don't care much about the average consumer.
As long as you are not selling modded equipment for
a profit you should be ok. Sorry to hear about your
unfortunate situation Shannon. 

Not being about to mod your computer/xbox/whatever 
would be like buying a ford and not being able to 
change the muffler. That's just crazy. I don't 
think it's a good idea to steal a companies
copyrighted info, but to circumvent that to watch
DIVX movies on the XBox. Hell yeah!

I was suggesting to offer you web sites as well.
I'll see what I can find.
