I was a little disappointed with our turn out for the last install fest. In a
way, I'm happy because I did not have my act together enough to deal with the
two people I assisted. On the other hand, I know that other people there could
have dealt with much more. Next time, I want more.

How about having one in a place where lots of random people just happen to be,
like Books a Million or a public library on a Sunday? It was great to have all
the CCCC goodies, but we ought to be able to provide those things for
ourselves. For instance, we should be able to provide a good LAN and internet
access for ourselves. What better way to get free software out there than to
stick beautiful interfaces in people's faces and make it do things they can't
do with commercial software?
