the solarium is a massive sun unix workstation center that is open to all of campus. located in the conference center on rex st. you can get your login id from the helpdesk center at stephen's hall. it was based on your initials and last 4 of your social (mine jjb1030). then they give you a randomly generated password that you can change after you logon to a sun workstation or telnet/ssh/scsh and you can use passwd to change your password to one of your chosing.
