I have a client who is asking for a tool that monitors application memory leaks on a M$ 2000 Terminal Server. He is suspecting a 16-bit terminal emulator application (NetTerm) of leaking memory and causing system crashes, which is not fun when it is a production Terminal Server.
OK, ok, I know, a real operating system should not crash if an app misbehaves. I did say it was Off Topic. Apparently Service Pack 3 for M$ 2000 Server causes the Performance Monitor to return incorrect results. Service Pack 4 is available, but there is no info available on if this fixes the Performance Monitor error. I didn't know of any off the top of my head but I thought I would ask and see if anyone knows of something like this. Thanks, John Hebert
